- Have you ever discovered a piece of knowledge that should have been revealed in childhood? Last week Bruce shared with me a little symbolic mnemonic for remembering how many days are in each month using only your hands‘ knuckles.
- 2 weeks ago I discovered this little gem. Instapaper is “a simple tool to save web pages for reading later.” A great feature of Instapaper is the output to Kindle and ePub formats.
- For the WordPress theme developers out there: Starkers. After building 4 sites off of this template, I cannot recommend it enough.
- Also for web developers: Rolling a coke can around with pure CSS.
- Kristen and I couldn’t be more excited about the next “2″ Harry Potter movies being in 3D. Oh and the Harry Potter Theme Park? Definitely using some vacation days on that one.
- Not worth watching (really boring) but I like that Miley Cyrus and Joaquin Phoenix are promoting a good cause.
- Do we really need five blades? I say no. I get a much better shave using my dad’s butterfly style safety razor (that’s older than I am) than I get with my Mach 3.
- I’m sure you all already know Lost starts tomorrow. Get caught up on Hulu.
Current track: Complicated – Yonder Mountain String Band.
Next track: Like I should – Oriole Post.
Upcoming book: Resident Aliens: Life in the Christian Colony – Stanley Hauerwas

I started using a safety razor (single blade) over a year ago. Better than any cartridge type has ever done, regardless of how many blades they put on them.
i have a large adam's apple. will using a safety razor eliminate this problem once and for all?
Heh, yup Shawn it sure would. Don't let the name mislead you. Safety razors can still leave gnarly cuts if used improperly.
