- I’ll admit. I enjoyed the Doritos Super Bowl commercials. Though I never knew there was a contest behind them. California Church Scores Big with Super Bowl Ad.
- For reasons not to be discussed in this post, I’m not a fan of Best Buy. Though their E-waste program does help their reputation a little bit with me.
- I’m a sucker for great quotes. When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment when the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for. [Minimal]
- While I won’t go as far as to say rap music is dead (1974-2010). I will say the We Are The World 25 for Haiti video is something…terrible.
- The State of the Internet is a great infographic (think stat chart minus the boredom) with colorful internet statistics.
- This story really deserves its own post. But its too good to postpone until a later date: Millionaire gives fortune away.
- This week’s Kansas City Band: The Sailor Sequence
And on a personal note, congrats to Paul (DiscipleshipRemix) and his wife Sarah on their newborn Valentine’s Day baby!

I heart random Mondays! Thanks, Scott. My favorite today: The State of the Internet. I wonder what it will look like next year. I also wonder why they didn't add stats about what we use the internet for. Have you seen this video yet? (I'm sure you have. I am always way behind with this sort of thing) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIFYPQjYhv8
I'm glad you enjoy the Monday morning randomness. It's fun (and easy) to do.
I have in fact seen that video, but haven't watched it in a while. I probably should have partnered that video with the infographic. The stat that blows me away is about Facebook being the 4th largest country in the world…simply mind bottling (http://is.gd/8rDEJ).
Scott, I always look forward to "Monday morning is for the random." Keep 'em coming!
Thanks Tricia!
