i think i would just stare at my much-younger self and not say anything. sure, i'd prefer to avoid hurting people the way that i have. i'd love to help myself stay away from some of the stuff i got into, some of the situations and failed businesses, some of the poor choices and disastrous relationships. …but if i did that it's very unlikely i would be where i am today. and i love where i am today.

is that wrong, that i would be so paranoid about "ruining" my present that i wouldn't change a thing?

  2. paulsheneman says:

    Don't be afraid.

  3. Scott says:

Pick up the guitar, you'll be glad you did.

  4. herbhalstead says:

I would say, "be patient, endure what you're going through, because you are going to meet Angel soon, and she will change everything…"

  5. Jay McPherson says:

I would tell 'little Jay' to learn to forgive yourself… learn to accept God's grace and love. Also, it is ok if you don't figure out everything at the same pace that your peers seem to be.

If this is not cheating, I may also advise myself to try and listen a bit better (to others and in the classroom).

I would tell him to ask more girls out. You may get more "Nos" but you'll also get more "Yeses" that way.

    That, and buy Google low.
