- I like books, which is probably good since I work in the publishing industry. But some of these books make me want to give up reading; 10 Difficult Literary Works [Listverse]

any list of difficult literary works has to include Ulysses by James Joyce. i tried to start that book four or five times (stupidity, or perseverance?). In the end, it defeated me.
